July 26th Milestones

Yesterday was a fun day with pregnancy milestones! I started the day a bit rough, sleeping at least an hour past the alarm and missing a meeting with directors at work. Not the best way to start, but thankfully the day improved, even though I think I would have been fine sleeping until noon. In the afternoon I had a visit with the NP where I heard Owen's heart beat for the first time! It was so cool and I teared up as I am sure I will for just about every new baby event. He is doing well with 150 beats per minute!

Later that evening at Life Group I could feel the popcorn sensation (which is feeling much more like fire works now) all evening. Then as I laid down to go to sleep latter in the evening, I felt a very distinct thump on my tummy. I am feeling them right now as I type. Needless to say, it was another teary moment for me last night.

We are still not to the point where Chris can feel what I am feeling, but it is not stopping him from trying! I am excited when he can feel a good kick or high five from Owen. It will be pretty amazing.
