18 Weeks!

Today we are at 18 weeks and apparently I am carrying a child about the size of a sweet potato. I am doing the best I can to keep moving as lately, all I want to do is sleep.

  • I went to my first prenatal yoga class on Saturday. It felt great except I have never sweated so much doing simple moves like that. I found it's time to upgrade to a better mat if I am going to stick with this as I was slipping and sliding. What was an even better experience was having the mirrors behind us and not in front. It made any pose where I could see behind me not too pleasent. I really don't appreciate staring at my widening behind (even though I am okay with it).
  • I keep talking Chris into going out for walks with me because the treadmill is even more dreadfully boring when walking. This evening we had a great walk out at Newport Back Bay. Gorgeous!
  • I am taking frequent breaks while working. You know, for important things like bio breaks, making second breakfast, lunch, cookies in the afternoon...
It is amazing how a sweet potato can really knock me out, but he is and I am loving every bit of it!

  1. Hey Sister! I just caught up with your blog and read everything. This is all so exciting! I was going to ask you what colors you would like for a baby blanket, I will text you this week and see. I love the colors you have chosen, so I have an idea of what would look good, but I will ask you and see if you have any preferences. We love you guys!!! Can't wait to meet little Owen!
    Love, Sara

  2. Keep up the exercise. I think I worked out like 2 times during each of my pregnancies. I was just too tired (wasn't that the greatest excuse!). Would love to walk the back bay with you- have heard its gorgeous.
