Seems like my little guy has found comfort with his thumb! We saw what looked like thumb sucking during the 20 week ultrasound and now that he is bigger, I can feel it! Owen moves around - a lot. It is nearly constant. But, whenever he is still, I start to feel this rhythmic beat - and often see one spot just pulsating. For the longest time it was driving me crazy trying to figure out what it was, then some friends helped me out. It has got to be him sucking his thumb. I have to say, now that annoying pulse is just the cutest thing to me. It is so amazing how he is being formed and showing his habits, before I can really see him or touch him.
It is sweet to see them sucking their thumb but...start saving for orthodontics now!
ReplyDeleteNeither of my children were thumb suckers, no bottles past 9 months old, no pacifier for leah, 9 months for Christian... Leah has had 1 set of braces already and will have to have them again. Christian gets his in January... Let him suck his thumb! :)
