Chris and I have talked about not wanting to spoil our little guy too much once he's in this great big world. One indulgence I could not resist though was some custom bedding (mom and dad do not even have that!). After finding the most perfect and fun fabrics, the lovely and creative Erin Spross helped me find what seemed to be the one and only retailer that had all the fabrics, decide which fabric would be what in the crib, then helped me get started on making the crib mattress sheet. So between the two of us, in what seemed like no time at all, we whipped up a quality sheet for Owen that I'm sure he'll love to go along with his owl and argyle bumper and zig zag crib skirt to hide all his "unmentionables" under the crib. Still not sure what will become of the birds, but I'm sure something will come up.
With the crib on the way from Grandma and Grandpa Bear, I just cannot wait until December to meet the little guy who is practicing his martial arts skills in my belly and will sleep with cute little owls someday!
