I am not a big fan of treadmills. Okay, let me clarify, I really hate treadmills. What fun is it to run in one place? But, with few places to walk out the door and go for a run where I live, the treadmill is a must if I want to run during the week. However, moving from running to walking on a treadmill has taken my level of disdain for the treadmill up a few notches. It has become such a chore for me! But I have found something to make the task tolerable, even though it has caused me to become one of "those people".
For those of you who frequent gyms, you have to know who I'm talking about. The person walking on the treadmill spending most of the time looking at their phone (catching up on texts, emails, Facebook), drinking water and watching TV. Yup, look over and you'll find me! That person use to make me think, "why even bother?". As a pregnant lady that can't run even if I wanted to (I tried a few steps last weekend and it didn't turn out so well for me), I've found out why to bother. So, I've learned to tolerate the treadmill again in my current condition, but looking oh so forward to getting back out in the great wide open when I can for a good run with my Bob stroller (woo hoo!) and little Owen when he's ready to rock and roll!
