First Trimester - Done!

We are officially in the 14th week and out of the first trimester. Yahoo! I feel so blessed to have enjoyed an uneventful first trimester. Here is a run down of the last several pregnancy weeks:

Weeks 4/5: Found out we were pregnant and in a complete state of unbelief and absolute thankfulness at the same time. Also started finding I could not make it through the night without a trip or two to the restroom. I thought I would not have problems sleeping until the baby is born???

Weeks 6-10: Tired, tired, tired! I could fall asleep anywhere and in just about any posture. This is when I began to thank God every day that I have the opportunity to work from home. Queasiness set in too. No nausea though so I can't complain. Because of the queasy stomach I found myself eating much more (including 1am and 4am bowls of cereal). My normal food comforts, such as chocolate chip cookies, vanilla lattes and brownies became like eating brussels sprouts. I didn't bother forcing those down.

Week 8: Sneak peak at our little "bean"!

Weeks 11-13: Good-bye to my favorite pair of blue jeans! I had to make a stop after a friends BBQ to Target to get some maternity pants and shorts. I did not like having to unbutton my pants or use a rubber band. Plus, you sure can eat a lot more comfortably with some stretchy pants!
