We are still working on getting the right lighting in our apartment for these monthly photos - but here I am at 24 weeks! I had to see a side by side comparison from last month to prove to myself I am getting bigger. This month there are bigger kicks, more response to our "pokes" and the start of classes, a hospital tour and an increased reading list of baby books. Although, I still am determined to finally finish A Tale of Two Cities before December! I think my upcoming nearly-two-hour appointment for diabetes screening may be an opportunity to make progress on that goal.
Oh the cursed diabetes test...my advice is don't eat anything with any carbs at all for at least 12 hours before. You must go atkins or you could fail and have to go back for an even longer test with hourly blood draws- I speak from experience here...
